Welcome to my front hallway. It is narrow so there is no room for any furniture. About the only way I can decorate is to hang pictures. This are hanging from curtain rods we secured to the wall. I like this because I don’t put a lot of holes in my wall hanging pictures.

All the pictures are hung by ribbon that matches my colors. On some I used only 1 ribbon, some I used 2 ribbons. It’s just whatever. See the one with 3 pictures hanging down? I’ll tell you how I did it.

This is my oldest, by only 3 minutes, Will. To start I laid the pictures on the table and decided how much ribbon I would need. I choose to do these with a wide ribbon. I then hot glued the ribbon to the back of the picture at the top and bottom making sure I can still get in to change the picture if I want. I made a loop (how ever long you want) and hot glued that on top of where I glued at the top.

This is my middle child, by only 3 minutes or 4 years (depending how you look at it), Kathy. I just hot glued the top and bottom like I did Will’s picture.

This is my youngest, by 4 years, Dillon. Man, he looks so young in this picture! Anyway, I hot glued the ribbon like I did the other two and left a tail hanging down. You don’t have to if you don’t want to.

These are 2 of my favorite pictures. The top is Dillon when he was about 5. He is underwater blowing bubbles. That was hard to get! The bottom is of the 3 of them riding inner tubes at the lake. It’s my all time favorite picture. This is one of those perfect shots out of a lot of bad shots that you take. I like it because the lighting is good, they all color coordinate with life jackets and tubes, and you can see Dillon’s reflection in the water. I put these together like I did the ones above.

I need to add more pictures. Maybe I will get around to it one day. Yea, right.
